Motels & Motor Lodges (aka - Motor Inns, Serviced Apartments)
Self contained and serviced, New Zealand motels are generally of a high standard and are a popular form of accommodation for the free, independent traveller. Facilities usually include a fully equipped kitchen or a minimum of hot plates and microwave, bathroom/toilet, lounge with TV and phone and bedroom(s). Studio units have sleeping in the lounge area rather than a separate bedroom. Motels are generally serviced daily and towels, linen and cooking utensils are provided.
